Grateful for the Journey and the People Along the Way

Image
I Am Blessed In the journey of building a career—a path often mistaken as one paved solely with personal achievements—recent experiences have opened my eyes to a humbling truth: I’ve never walked this path alone. My journey has been filled with countless individuals who have selflessly stepped forward to support me. And, for all that I’ve gained, what stands out the most isn’t any milestone or material success, but rather the incredible kindness of those who have stood by me. Often, I find myself asking: why have people around me shown such generosity? Why do they continue to extend their helping hands, time and again, without expecting anything in return? As I reflected, one answer emerged: transparency and commitment. In my interactions, I’ve tried to be genuine, to honor my word, and to show up fully for others. It’s humbling to realize that something as simple as showing up with sincerity can resonate so deeply with those around us. I pray for the strength to continue living this w...

The Last Five Minutes: A Journey in Search of Purpose

Image
There was a time when I thought I knew what life was all about. I chased after the tangible things that most of us believe hold the key to fulfillment: money, success, and the symbols of achievement. But as I began to attain them, I noticed something unsettling—none of it brought the fulfillment my soul was yearning for. It took me years to realize that perhaps I was asking the wrong question all along. And so began my journey in search of something deeper. As a child, my heart was captivated by electronics. I remember the thrill of holding an electronic toy in my hands, fascinated by the blinking lights and mysterious mechanisms inside. That fascination turned into a desire to own a computer. I can still recall the feeling of envy, almost humiliation, as I watched my friends effortlessly navigate theirs, while I could only visit their homes and admire from afar. Back then, it felt like having my own computer would somehow unlock a door to everything I wanted to be. I kept climbing lif...

From Xerox Shop to Global Impact: My Journey of Building Otomatiks and the Satkar Group

Image
When I look back on my journey, I’m reminded of a simple dream that started with a young man working in a small Xerox shop. My goal back then was modest: learn, grow, and maybe, one day, make a difference. Today, that dream has evolved into something far bigger than I could have imagined. Otomatiks, the company I founded, has empowered over 150,000 students to think critically and solve real-world problems. But this story goes beyond one organization—it’s a story of resilience, vision, and a mission to make a lasting impact. How It All Began I started my career in a Xerox shop. It wasn’t glamorous, but it taught me the value of hard work and opened a door I never expected. One day, I got an opportunity to join a computer course at CSC Computer Education. Eager to learn, I jumped at the chance, working and studying at the same time. My dedication paid off, and soon, I was offered a job at CSC, where I quickly rose through the ranks to become branch manager at their Malleswaram branch in...

Guiding the Future: Why a Robotics Lab Needs Both Infrastructure and Curriculum

Image
Have you ever imagined a bus without an experienced driver? 🚌💨 That’s exactly what a robotics lab without a curriculum feels like. Which is more important: lab infrastructure or curriculum? In my view, both are essential. But what’s truly sustainable? 🤔 When we at Otomatiks explored this, we realized sustainability comes when the vendor has a strong, reliable relationship with the school. Why? Because managing a robotics lab is challenging: ➡️ Technology is constantly advancing, meaning kits can quickly become outdated. ➡️ Students actively use the equipment, so damages are inevitable. ➡️ School-assigned trainers often juggle multiple responsibilities, making consistent class schedules difficult. The idea that setting up a robotics lab is a “one-time investment” is a myth —sometimes even a marketing trap . Robotics today is not a luxury; it’s a necessity that meets both student and parenting needs. Think back to your school days, especially in the computer lab. 💻 How many comput...
